India’s largest SUV maker Mahindra & Mahindra had launched its Xylo in January 2009 and now the company is planning to introduce a small version of Xylo known as “Mini Xylo” in the Indian market. According to recent reports, Mahindra Mini Xylo will be released in Auto Expo 2012. This is to be expected that this new compact version will bear all the specifications of its parent version.
The Mini Xylo will be less than 4 meters in length and will have a 1.5L diesel engine. It will be carrying a seating capacity of 5 along with a specious interior. The car will be a 3-cylinder engine and will come with a 5 speed manual transmission system. Currently, the Mini Xylo is under hot weather testing in Rajasthan.
The price of the Mini Xylo is expected to be around Rs 5 lakh. The new car will feature all the safety features including ABS, Airbags, and Foldable stretch seats which make the journey pleasurable as well as safe. It will incorporate Body Color Bumpers, Trip Meter, Tachometer, Rear Seat Belts, Power Windows, A/C without climate control feature, Remote Fuel Filler, Central Locking, Manual Driver Seat Adjustment, Rear Wiper, Rear A/C Vent and Optional Music System and much more.
